How it works

Collect your outdoor performance wear
We can take it even if it has holes, patches, or broken zippers! Please just make sure it is clean and dry.

Select the add-on
Let us know you'll have outerwear for us! Go to your member dashboard and add the outdoor performance wear add-on to your pickup.

Bag it up & label it
Put your outdoor performance wear into a plastic or paper bag labeled "ReFleece". Please make sure the bag is tightly closed, so that your items will stay safe during transit!

Leave it by your bin
Place your bag near your bin by 8am on your pickup day.

We'll help you keep your old, damaged outdoor wear out of the waste stream by connecting it with a partner who can transform it into something new!
Partnering with ReFleece
Refleece brings new life to used outerwear by making great-looking, useful, long-lasting products out of items that would otherwise be discarded. The primary material in their products is “used-up” outdoor performance wear. The fabric in these products is often well engineered and built to last. Yet a relatively small bit of damage — a broken zipper, blown seam, small tear, some leaking in a downpour — may leave the garment no longer functioning well in its original use. They divert these items from the waste stream, and turn them once again into something of value.
