Partnering with Friends of Disabled Adults and Children

Friends of Disabled Adults and Children’s (FODAC’s) mission is to enhance the quality of life for people with physical disabilities by providing low to no cost refurbished home medical equipment (HME) and assistive technology to enable greater mobility and independence. FODAC provides more than $10 million annually of HME in Georgia and beyond. As a pioneer in recycling and re-use, FODAC keeps over 400 tons of materials out of landfills each year and is recognized nationally as a best practice leader by the national re-use community. FODAC has a 37-year history and distributes more than 7,500 HME items annually to those in need.
